Blue Skies Don't Bother Me

What I'm working on right now...

I have a feeling there is going to be a tree somewhere in there eventually. But not in the usual colors. I think it's just waiting to emerge.

I am currently in love with my shiny new Windsor and Newton Ribble Table Easel, as well as their acrylic paint...I was using Reeves Phthalo Blue paint that I got from Bill's Bookstore, but then I realized I had a tube of Windsor and Newton Windsor Blue and holy cow did it make a difference. Their paint goes on so much smoother and the colors are just eye popping. Unfortunately Bill's only sells Windsor and Newton oil paints, not acrylics, which means it's time for another trip to Michael's soon. Wait, maybe I meant to say fortunately.

Really Knit Stuff

Saturday, January 5, 2008

So, today I had the opportunity of taking my first class at Wooly Bully, taught by the wonderful, amazing Erica Bea Puckett.

The women in my knitting class graciously agreed to be my photography victims.

We got to play with some really gorgeous yarn...

And learned some really neat...er...knit stuff.

Lots of laughter...

And fun...

Was had by all!
